THE CIRCUS MICE

Have you ever been to the Fine Time Circus ?

They have five spectacular performing mice

And each of them has a different skill

Each more spectacular than the last

Number one can ride a bike and fly a kite

Number two can run a mile on his front paws

Number three can skate on ice while dining on pineapple

Number four can sky dive and juggle fire

“But what can number five do ?”

I hear you ask

Are you ready for it ?

Can you guess ?

Number five can …

Ride a bike

Fly a kite

Run a mile

Skate on ice

Dine on pineapple

Sky dive

And juggle fire

At the same time !

If you don’t believe me then you must go to the Fine Time Circus

To see the five performing mice for yourself

THE ENORMOUS TURNIP

There’s a great big turnip

At the bottom of the field

I’ll get it

See my muscles!

I pushed and pulled

But I couldn’t get it out

I pushed and I pulled

And gave a little shout

Come here wife !

How’s your muscles ?

My wife came up

But she couldn’t get it out

We pushed and pulled

And we gave a little shout

Come here girl !

How’s your muscles ?

The girl came up

But she couldn’t get it out

We pushed and pulled

And we gave a little shout

Come here boy !

How’s your muscles ?

The boy came up

But he couldn’t get it out

We pushed  and pulled

And we gave a little shout

Come here dog !

How’s your muscles ?

But he couldn’t get it out

Come here cat !

And we gave  a little shout

Come here mouse !

How’s your muscles ?

The mouse came up

And pulled it out

HOORAY !

We patted him on the back

And we gave a little shout

Well done mouse !

LITTLE DONKEY CLOSE YOUR EYES

Little donkey on the hill standing there so very still

Making faces at the skies little donkey close your eyes

Little monkey in the tree swinging there so merrily

Throwing coconuts at the skies little monkey close your eyes

Silly sheep that slowly crop night has come and you must stop

Chewing grass beneath the skies silly sheep now close your eyes

Little pig that squeals about make no noises with your snout

No more squealing to the skies little pig now close your eyes

Wild young bird that sweetly sing curve your head beneath your wing

Dark night covers all the skies wild young birds now close your eyes

Old black cat down in the barn keeping five small kittens warm

Let the wind blow in the skies dear old black cat close your eyes

Little child all tucked in bed looking such a sleepy head

Stars are quiet in the skies little child now close your eyes
